WAF modes

When a new Traffic Configuration is set up, the WAF module is initially set to 'Disabled' mode by default. Disable means the WAF rules are not in effect.

We recommend enabling the WAF module in 'Logging Mode' during the first 24-48 hours. The information gathered during this time is used to optimally tune the WAF.

After this period, it is advisable to switch the setting to 'Blocking Mode.'
