How Network DDoS protection works

Magnify Enforcer

The Magnify Enforcer gets its input from two primary sources: (1) Threat Intelligence and (2) the Magnify Engine. The Magnify Engine consists of three key components:

  1. Flow Engine (FE): The Flow Engine processes raw sFlow (sampled traffic data) data received from the North router. This raw data is normalized, making it suitable for further analysis by our Detection Engine.

  2. Detection Engine (DE): The DE works in tandem with the Flow Engine and Rule Engine. It receives normalized flow data from the Flow Engine and distinguishes between normal and malicious traffic.

  3. Rule Engine (RE): The Rule Engine is responsible for creating mitigation rules based on anomalies detected by the Detection Engine (DE). Once the DE identifies a potential DDoS attack, the RE instructs the Magnify Enforcer or router to block the malicious traffic.

Our multi-layered approach and real-time data processing ensure that your networks remain secure and resilient against evolving threats.
